This retail store in Piermont, New York was the first
location for the increasingly popular skin lingerie and lounge wear line. The design worked with the line’s philosophy of softness and comfort, along with their tag line “addressing the body”. Panels peel away from the walls to create clothing display areas and shelving, while the cash wrap folds out of the floor and maximizes the usable floor space. The unusually low ceiling height of the existing space was used to accentuate the horizontal elements of the design. This project was also published in 2007 by WWD (Women’s Wear Daily) and WWD intimates.
